Clience Studio
The new Clience Studio can be found in Castle Douglas, having originally been established in the Artists Town of Kirkcudbright in 2005.
Gathering inspiration from the beautiful coastal scenery of the Solway and Colvend coast, and from the nearby Galloway Hills, Angela Lawrence paints watercolour and oil images expressive of the natural landscape or the elements that make up the landscape such as rock, water, organic materials and colour.
The gallery is open throughout the year and offers you the chance to view a large portfolio of paintings ranging from a representational style, to glimpses and impressions of landscape in the semi-abstract landscape section. The newest series of work produced by Angela focuses on the sea close-up, and has been created for the Sea Spirits exhibition which you can view at Gracefield Arts Centre in nearby Dumfries.
