“Quality art, crafts & gifts in a stunning location”
It is important to us that every one feels comfortable about coming to the Gallery and looking at the great ranges we have on display. Our location is stunning; at the head of the pier in Blairmore village, on the shore of Loch Long, with views to the Arrochar alps, the Loch, and the River Clyde beyond
Our Gallery is surrounded by many talented Artists and Crafts people, such as David Morrisson, and Raymond Murray, who work with us to keep displays fresh and appealing. As the largest Gallery in Cowal, we display the work of many Argyll artists, whilst inviting well known artists such as Pam Carter, Davy Brown Deborah Phillips and Jolomo Award winner Keith Salmon from further afield.
We also have exhibitions which change every 6 weeks or so. We joined the Visit Scotland quality Assurance scheme to demonstrate that we have consistently high standards, and that by meeting the award criteria we have a good quality venue, with friendly service, and a range of arts and crafts that give great choice to the visitor, and locals alike.

We would love to welcome you to our lovely Art & Craft Gallery, Gallimaufry at Blairmore, located a few short miles from Dunoon along the scenic coastal road around the Holy Loch. The location is perfect, situated in the Argyll Forest Park, an area where mountains, rivers ,forests, lochs and sea blend together to create a place of scenic beauty. An inspirational paradise which has cultivated the creative talents of those born here, and encouraged many others to settle and capture the magic on canvas.
Established over 14 years, but always with its finger on the pulse, the Gallery is constantly refreshing the range of Art & Crafts so there is always something new to see. In this way we can ensure there is plenty to appeal to the local art enthusiast and those visiting the area.
We have a great relationship with the Gallery Artists. Many pop in regularly for coffee and a chat, and to talk art. Some tutor classes that we arrange, hence our ‘Tourist Attraction’ 4 Star Status
Gallimaufry means ‘mixture’, and we live up to our name with art, prints, jewellery, ceramics, bronze sculpture, and other decorative items on sale...we have the most extensive range of art & crafts in one place in the whole of Cowal, so we are the place to come to see the best that there is on offer in the local area. But there is no obligation to buy, we would love you to visit us and enjoy the art, and admire the skill of the crafters, but we understand you may be tempted to buy a present for a loved one, or even treat yourself. We have recently added a large and ever growing range of Fairtrade gift items to compliment our offer, alongside the Fair trade items used in our Coffee Shop.
Once you have looked at our Art, relax and enjoy the Loch side views from the Coffee Shop area. We serve fresh ground coffee; Latte, Espresso and Cappuccino, tea, fruit infusions and so on. Also we serve delicious home baking, tray bakes, muffins and light snacks.

Opening Hours
