Community Farm
Knowetop Community Farm provides a service to local regeneration priority areas in West Dunbartonshire on environmental awareness and education, animal care and horticulture. It was set up in 1980 as a community project and has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. We have lots to see and do, everyone is welcome. Come along and make some new friends
We are a small community farm which was set up in 1980 as a community project. The farm offers training places to local unemployed people and school children, throughout the year we hold gala days and special events. Group visits to the farm have been organised for over 2000 children, these young people are from schools throughout West Dunbartonshire, disabled groups also visit the project and find it relaxing and therapeutic. We aim to fit in with other services by working with the local council.
The services that we offer at the farm not only include being able to see and feed our animals, but disabled access, soft indoor play area for children, cafe and shop, picnic tables, we also cater for birthday parties and school groups.
