The nursery provides the ideal conditions for an enormous range of home-grown plants, trees, shrubs, hedging plants and more.
Situated in the old county town of Wigtown, Scotland's Book Town, Bayview Nursery is within the walled garden of the Wigtown House Hotel having spectacular views overlooking Wigtown Bay and nature reserve.
Best in show and gold medal winner at the Galloway Garden festival, Bayview Nursery has an extensive and eclectic range of plants. The vast majority of our range is grown on site with the remainder being locally sourced. Many are unusual and rarely available. Our aim is to give a warm welcome to all customers providing the right plants for the right place and cultivation information if required.
Thousands of plants are always in stock including alpines, perennials, shrubs, climbers, grasses, bamboos, ferns, exotics and a few trees including Acers and Eucalyptus. Bedding plants in season. Nice selection of Phormiums, Cordylines and tree ferns available.
