Set in the North East of Scotland, in the exquisite gardens of the Findhorn Foundation Spiritual Community, the
FINDHORN POTTERY offers high quality stoneware pottery. Four potters following their own creative impulses
ensures a wide and ever changing range of MUGS, DINNER WARE, DECORATIVE POTTERY AS WELL AS
SCULPTURAL PIECES AND VESSELS. Prices range from £5.00 to £1,000.00 - something for everyone's pocket!
A great day out, visiting the Pottery, enjoying a relaxed lunch in the organic cafe on site, wandering around our Eco
Village and following the Artists Trail in the Park, a cooperative of five creative studios opening their studio doors to
the general public, as well as the Moray Art Centre, an award winning carbon neutral facility.
The potters of Findhorn Pottery enjoy a chat and love welcoming visitors, so do come and visit us.
REDUCTION FIRED STONEWARE POTTERY.
Made entirely on the premises, our ceramics are tactile and sensual, enabling human hands to experience the human
hands that made them. They are also a visual delight, with our own glaze recipes reflecting the colours of the Moray
coast and moorlands.
Domestic poettery, tableware, mugs, quaiches, angels, flowing figures, sculptural vessels are a small sample of our
extensive range. Four potters, each listening to our individual inspiration create a range of ceramics which is ever
changing. Old favourites and new impulses. Monthly firings ensures a new expereince with every visit to our
pottery.
Based in the North East of Scotland, the Findhorn Pottery is set in the exquisite gardens of the Findhorn Foundation
Spiritual Community and maintains the underlying philosophies of the founders of this community. Beauty, quality,
joy and fulfilment in our work is what is expressed in our ceramics. Established in 1971, the Findhorn Pottery is still
going strong and we look forward to celebrating our 40th birthday in 2011.
Our prices range from £5.00 to £1,000.00. Therefore, something for everyone's pocket may be found in our well
appointed Pottery Shop.
