Castle Leod - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
From N.Kessock TIC take the main road to Dingwall and the A834 towards Strathpeffer. Less than 1km from Strathpeffer on the Dingwall side, the castle entrance is by a gate lodge on the north side of the road soon after playing fields and 200m beyond a large brown sign beyond a bridge. Park by a small green ticket booth 450m up the right side of the drive.
Getting There by Car
skipThe castle is off the north side of the A 834 less than 1km east of Strathpeffer at a gate lodge and driveway. It is the second turning left from Strathpeffer and from the east is 200m west of a large brown sign just beyond a bridge.
Getting There by Railway
Main line services run to Inverness and beyond to Kyle of Lochalsh and Wick. Both of these lines stop at Dingwall the closest station to the castle. A bus service runs frequently between Dingwall and Strathpeffer.
