Monifieth Medal Golf Course

No fewer than four golf clubs share the Monifieth Links, a few miles to the east of Dundee. There is proud golfing heritage here on the Angus coastline where Monifieth is the most westerly of the of that great triumvirate of majestic links courses of which Panmure Barry holds the middle ground while the mighty challenge of Carnoustie is only four miles further on. Big greens that are normally hard, fast and true and some very clever bunkering are the hallmarks of this much underrated links which is the home club of Scotlands finest ever amateur players, and a master of links golf, Ian Hutcheon.
