The Camanachd Association
The Camanachd Association is the governing body of the ancient Celtic sport of Shinty. Through the summer months we run the Marine Harvest leagues and other cup competitions throughout the Highlands, headlined by the Glenmorangie Camanachd Cup.
Our forty clubs are spread from the Universities in the east and Glasgow, to the communities of Argyll and Bute, Lochaber, Strathspey, Great Glen, Inverness and Skye and Wester Ross. Games usually start at 3pm on Saturdays, although Junior and Youth games happen in the evenings midweek throughout the summer months and Women's matches on Sundays.
