The Hub In The Forest

The Hub is an outdoor friendly café and bike shop run by former professional mountain bike riders Emma Guy and Tracy Brunger. Tracy and Emma have raced for various teams including K2, Raleigh, Team Animal, as well as Helly Hansen/Giant. Between them they represent both cross country and downhill mountain biking and have travelled worldwide, racing at the forefront of their sports challenging the world's best riders. At the pinnacle of their careers they have represented Great Britain and stood on World Cup podiums. Their expertise is gleaned from years travelling with other world class riders, international team mechanics, masseurs, and team managers.

The Hub is a place that is comfortable, welcoming and warm. A place to meet friends before setting out on an adventure; a place to recover and relive the adventure over a hot coffee.

Born from a passion for the outdoors, The Hub is a place where all outdoor minded people can meet, whether you are here to bike, hike, walk, run, or just to have a damn fine coffee and enjoy the views.

The Hub is made up by the people who come and create their own atmosphere with a little help from good food, excellent coffee, and inspirational surroundings. The Hub is created from materials that can withstand a bit of the outdoors indoors, so we don't mind if you are a bit muddy or wet.

The Hub-BIKE has been created for the people who come to Glentress. Listening to our customers and stocking products and brands that we believe in the bike shop at Glentress is a unique environment. We run probably one of the largest demo fleets in the country using quality bikes from ORANGE, SCOTT, SANTA CRUZ, ROCKY MOUNTAIN and GIANT. We set the bike up properly for you personally-Stewart our mechanic is a technical wizard, and combined with our riding expertise, we can give you one of the sweetest rides on your dream bike, on the best trails in the UK. All the staff at The Hub ride bikes, its what we love to do, that's why its so important to us that you have the best experience out there as well.

Pricing Information: Bike hire £16 a day, children half price
Facilities For Disabled: level access, ramp access and disabled toilet
Opening Exceptions: Closed on Thursdays October - March
Closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day, 1st and 2nd January.
