Ryan Leisure Centre
The Ryan Leisure Centre contains a number of different halls and rooms of varying capacities and features.
The Theatre provides a year round programme of shows and productions, including concerts, choirs, dance drama, jazz, musicals, opera and pop to cater for all tastes. Conferences and meetings can be arranged for anything from a few people to the maximum capacity of the facility required. Full audio visual facilities can be included in the conference package, as can accommodation in convenient local hotels and guest houses.
The Leisure Pool has excellent spectator facilities with a relaxation area which provides a panoramic view over the leisure pool and water features. As well as the usual family swimming sessions, special periods are reserved for lessons, adults only, children only, ladies aqua fitness and parent and baby. People with disabilities are also welcomed. As well as swimming, the pool has a 60 metre flume, poolside spa bath, water features and inflatables which are introduced at specific sessions in the programme.
