University of St Andrews Sports Centre
The facilities for sporting activity are considerably higher than most other similarly-sized universities, and the outdoor grass playing fields and their surfaces are much admired by those who play on them. The grass fields of some 40 acres are housed in parkland-type terrain with minimal traffic or noise disturbance. The newly-provided Community Facilities of tennis courts, track, cricket bays and astro-pitch have added to the sporting opportunities of both the university and the community at large.
Mini-tennis - 4 courts available.
Racqetball - played on squash courts.
Squash - 3 courts at the centre and 2 at Butts Wynd.
Sports Hall - multi purpose -
Sunbed - if it rains!
Table tennis - 3 tables.

Lacrosse pitch.
Rugby pitches -
Shinty pitch.
Ultimate Frizbee pitch.
*Community facilities are open to the general public subject to a usage charge, and we run an extensive programme of community classes.
