Overlooking the beautiful valley of Strathmore near Blairgowrie, Strathmore Golf Centre has a wide range of facilities for visiting golfers includinga floodlit driving range, a par-29 9-hole course - Leitfie Links and the magnificent par-72, 6454 yd Rannaleroch Course designed by John Salvesen. A challenge to good golfers while forgiving the not so good, the course is popular with golfers of all abilities.
With two 9 hole loops, the course makes maximum use of the natural rolling countours to form many memorable holes, including the par-3 fourth and seventeenth which both have elevated tees and magnificent views over the valley while the fifth, a dogleg par-5 played from an elevated tee over a picturesque pond is the signature hole. Another clever feature is that despite the natural contours it is not a physically demanding course with only three of the holes uphill and buggies available for hire.
