An 18-hole parkland golf course with stunning views of the Solway and the Lake District, Lockerbie Golf Club sits just two minutes from the M74, overlooking the picturesque town of Lockerbie.
Offering stunning views over the Annandale Valley and surrounding hills, Lockerbie (18 holes, 5463 yards, SSS 67, par 67) offers a challenging round for golfers of all abilities.
Founded in 1889, the original 9-hole course was designed by the legendary James Braid and in 1986 it was extended when a further nine holes were added. The course has several hazards which make for some interesting scores! In addition, trees, a pond and contours contribute to the interesting layout.
Booking is advisable at the weekends. Golf carts and trolleys are available for hire. Golfing parties are welcome.
