Tongland Family Golf Centre
Situated in the picturesque River Dee valley and offering some superb views, Park of Tongland Family Golf Centre is ideal for the beginner just starting out or wishing to take up golf for the first time and who wants to experience golf in its entirety, the high handicapper looking to improve or develop their game or the low handicapper wanting to improve their short game. A family run business, a warm welcome is assured for the golfer and non-golfer alike, whether the choice is to relax in the cafeteria and enjoy a meal, snack or light refreshment or to make use of the facilities without the hustle and bustle normally associated with golf courses.
Facilities for the golfer include:
A nine bay floodlit, fully fitted, covered, sculptured practice range extending to some 350 yards, a 'short game' practice area with a large practice bunker adjacent to the short game area.
Soon to be completed purpose built practice green.
A nine hole par three golf course, the layout of which allows eighteen holes to be played utilising separate tees for the front nine and back nine on each hole. The longest hole is some 160 yards and the shortest hole 76 yards with the remainder falling between. The layout and nature of the course means it is not as easy to play as first looks would suggest. A number of 'hazards' including natural shrubbery and a stream which borders one of the holes, additional interest to the course and require to be avoided but catch out the careless or unwary. Plans are in place to add additional tees extending the length of all the holes, while retaining the existing tees, to cater for the more experienced golfer or those simply wanting to experience more of a challenge.

Tuition from a PGA professional offering traditional coaching to individual and small groups and computer video lessons to individuals and all at a time suitable to the customer.

Range balls £2.50 for 50 ball bucket;
a returnable deposit is required on all trolleys and some hire clubs
