Moffat Golf Club

Often referred to as the ‘jewel of the south’, this 18-hole course’s enviable location, high on Coats Hill, overlooking charming Moffat, provides spectacular views from its fairways and greens.
Originally founded in 1884, the course was redesigned in 1904, by Ben Sayers of North Berwick to create one of the most attractive, varied and interesting inland courses in the country.
At 5259 yards, SSS 67, par 69, the course has some really testing holes full of natural undulations and hazards - the 9th hole is an experience not to be missed! - and this coupled with the strength and direction of the wind can really make or break your score.
In addition to the fantastic course and stunning panoramic views of rural Scotland on offer, the welcoming clubhouse provides changing rooms with warm showers, buggy and trolley hire. To complete the experience, there is also a restaurant serving delicious hot and cold food, a fully stocked bar, two full-sized snooker tables, table tennis and darts.
Booking is advisable at the weekends and during the summer months. On Wednesdays tee are times available up to 3pm. Golfing parties accepted with maximum party size of 50.
