Lochmaben Golf Club
Famous for its wildlife and idyllic setting around the picturesque Kirk Loch, Lochmaben golf course is considered to be one of the most attractive courses in Dumfries & Galloway.
Offering a challenge for all levels of golfer, this superb 18-hole parkland golf course (5954 yards, SSS 70 par 70) occupies a historic area around the Kirk Loch. Near to the second green is the site of Robert the Bruce’s Castle and from the third hole, you can see the remains of the defensive motte.
The course’s signature hole is the 120-yard eighth that requires a tee shot across the corner of the Kirk Loch.
After your round, a warm welcome awaits you in the comfortable clubhouse which serves a wide variety of tasty homemade snacks and meals and alcoholic beverages.
Please note booking is advisable during the summer and at weekends but you can make the most of unrestricted tee times between 10am - 5pm weekdays. Golfing parties of up to 50 are welcome.
