Cambuslang Karting and Motor Sport Centre, 91 Glasgow Road, Cambuslang G72 7BT: Is an uinque, outdoor, fully floodlit facility with excellent transport links by motorway, rail and bus ideally situated on the edge of the city of Glasgow next door to Cambuslang's top Italian restaurant, Fratelli's. It offers a wide range of recreation, sport, education and training activities. Allocation of track time to develop the needs of the community, clubs, individuals, corporate and road safety requirements allows bookings to suit your needs from a stag/hen party to serious training and team building projects. The approved purpose built circuit is suitable for all types of motor sport use incorporating a skidpan, essential in delivering car control training as advised by the Health and Safety Executive for the corporate driver using the company car or van.
Tom Brown Racing Drivers School, Scotland's MSA licensed kart racing school and founder member of the Association of Racing Kart Schools with over 40 years experience in motor sport, oversees operations on site delivering, supervising and ensuring all matters are compentently dealt with to a high standard. All driving and riding expereinces can be purchased through our voucher scheme booked and paid for in advance. All experiences make excellent gifts to entertain all the family or treat your business partners or staff to a special day or evening out. The equipment used on site includes various classes of karting along with single seater Classic Formula Ford racing cars, saloon cars, rally cars, skidpan training cars, hotrods, mini moto bikes and quad bikes. Track availability for owner driver/riders to test can be made by appointment. Racing mechanic/marshal/driver/rider coaching is available throughout the year. Junior Drive is a driver training initiative that allows under 17 year olds the opportunity to train in a safe environment and familiarise themselves with car contral prior to training to sit their driving test or anticipated motor sport involvement.
