Kirkcudbright Swimming Pool
Open seven days a week, Kirkcudbright Swimming Pool offers excellent facilities for the whole family to enjoy including a 20-metre pool, spa bath, sauna/steam room and multi-gym.
Opened in 1997 the safe, clean swimming pool measures 20m x 8.5m. The water depth is 0.9m, graduating to maximum depth of 1.5m in the deepest part of the pool.
Swimming classes are run throughout the week; however the centre tries to allocate as much time as possible for public swimming. Please check the timetable on the centre’s website.
Alternatively, join in one of the Aquacise classes where you can exercise to music (a bit like aerobics) in the water - it's great fun and a great way to keep fit.
All the centre’s instructors are fully qualified and experienced and love their job! If you would like to give it a try, just come along to one of the classes shown on the timetable. There is no need to sign up beforehand - participants simply turn up whenever it's convenient, so what are you waiting for?
