Loch Insh Watersports - Getting There

Getting There by Car

By Bus:-

From Aviemore bus station take taxi 6 miles to Kincraig following signs to Loch Insh Watersports. At the watersports entrance continue up the road (uphill) 150 metres, turn right at the road junction, Insh Hall Ski Lodge is 50 metres on right.

From TIC:-

From Aviemore drive south 6 miles following signs to Loch Insh Watersports. Drive through Kincraig and 1 mile around lochside to The Boathouse Restaurant entrance, continue uphill 150 metres, turn right at the road junction, Insh Hall Ski Lodge is 50 metres on the right. From Kingussie drive north 6 miles following signs to Loch Insh Watersports. Drive through Kincraig to The Boathouse Restaurant entrance, continue uphill for 150 metres, turn right at road junction, 50 metres on right.

Getting There by Railway

From Aviemore railway station take taxi 6 miles to Kincraig following the signs to Loch Insh Watersports. At the watersports entrance continue up the road (uphill) 150 metres, turn right at the roadjunction, Insh Ski Lodge is 50 metres on right.

Getting there by Aeroplane

From Inverness airport head towards Inverness town. At 1st roundabout go straight across to Inverness town. At 2nd roundabout turn left (south) onto the A9 towards Perth and Aviemore. From Inverness stay on the A9 for 40 miles (approximately). Turn off the A9 after Aviemore where you will see a sign for Loch Insh Watersports. Follow signs for Loch Insh Watersports 6 miles through Kincraig anddrive to Boathouse Restaurant entrance. Travel 150 metres, turn right and 50 metres on the right.
