Gleneagles Shooting And Fishing School

Gleneagles Shooting And Fishing School

SHOOTING

There is no-one, novice or crack-shot, who would not enjoy, or benefit from time spent at the Gleneagles Shooting School in Scotland. If you want to learn to shoot sporting clays, or to teach your children, there is every help and assistance.
If you would like more practice on simulated teal, high pheasant or running hare or simply enjoy the exhilaration of our clay target shooting ranges, the Shooting School offers the very best in terms of sporting clays facilities and equipment.

The Gleneagles Shooting School has a world class reputation for providing an unrivalled sporting layout and the most expert instruction in all clay disciplines, at all levels of skill.

The school attracts guests from as far afield as North America and Japan to test their skeet shooting skill in Scotland — moving targets which simulate the flight of game birds and ground game across the Scottish moors.

More than 60% of guests are first-time clays shooters and, on average, 25% are ladies (who, incidentally, are usually much better first-time shots!) As well as the sporting clay targets (skeet shooting), air rifle shooting and target archery are hugely popular attractions.

Please note that cancellation for leisure activities with less than 24 hours notice will incur payment in full.

Every single sporting gun we use for the clays is made by the prestigious Beretta Company, master gun makers since 1526.

A total of 12 target disciplines — on shooting ranges for sporting clays, skeet shooting and more - provide stimulating sporting challenges. Most spectacular is King's Pheasant from a 30.48 metre (100 ft) tower.

Protective clothing, transport and all sporting clays equipment, including guns, are included in the cost of shooting at the school. A Finnish log shooting lodge and shop provide changing facilities, an informal lounge and equipment storage.
