Ardroy Outdoor Education Centre is one of the longest established outdoor education centres in the country, operating for over 30 years. The Centre has highly qualified, professional staff and is able to offer first class, action packed multi activity residential breaks for children and adults. Activities include, canoeing, rock-climbing and abseiling, archery, hill walking, kayaking, orienteering. Expeditions by sea kayak or foot through spectacular highland scenery are also on offer. Woodland country craft courses, including basket weaving and pole lathing.
Location:
Ardroy is set in the heart of the Argyll Forest park within the Loch Lomond and Trossach National Park, surrounded by mountains. The perfect location for a Scottish multi activity holiday. The Centre is only 1 ½ hours North of Glasgow, 6 miles from the Rest and Be Thankful off the A82 Inveraray-Tarbet road.
Accommodation:
Ardroy can accommodate up to 70 clients in 3 comfortable bunkhouse style units, each with its own bathrooms. The Centre is fully catered, with dining rooms, lounge, activity rooms and clothes drying facilities.
We run activities for:
Adult groups or for groups of children of all ages for multi activity holidays. Education programmes for schools, corporate training, and instructor skills courses.
Price range:
Rates include accommodation meals and activities. Multi activity weekends start from £850 per group of 10. For other courses please contact the Centre.
