Situated in the heart of Galloway and surrounded by beautiful countryside, this is the perfect place to come and explore Galloway on horseback.
Lochhill Equestrian Centre’s horses and ponies come in all shapes and sizes and cater for all age groups and levels of rider, meaning the whole family can enjoy a fantastic days riding amidst the majestic scenery and varied terrain of this beautiful corner of Scotland.
Choose from group or private riding lessons, or trekking which is available from one to three hours, or half to full day. Meanwhile, if your children are crazy about horses they can spend the morning or afternoon with Lochhill’s friendly team learning how to groom or muck-out a pony. The centre also offers carriage rides which are available daily in the Artists’ Town of Kirkcudbright or from the farm itself.
