Drum Adventure
Drum Adventure is a registered Scottish charity which mainly provides outdoor education opportunities to community groups, particularly from deprived areas. All its courses are individually designed to suit the needs of the client both in terms of the course costs and the desired outcomes. Programmes can range from a half-day or evening to a week long residential or regular 'day-a-week' programme.
In support of this work it also runs training courses for the corporate, tourism and leisure sectors. In addition will hire its equipment to self-programming groups on a fleet hire basis. (Conditions apply)
Its charity work includes clients who suffer from deprivation, mental health problems, addictions, behavioural and social problems, employment training and educational needs
All staff hold National Governing Body awards and are well experienced in proving courses suitable to individuals of all abilities.
As a holder of an AALA licence, the organisation has advanced safety management systems and health and safety policies. It is a recognised Local Authority supplier and has an affiliated group membership consisting of 123 community service groups throughout the Central Belt of Scotland. It is also the administrating body for Clyde Sail Training Trust, which provides sailing opportunities on a similar basis to itself.
All proceeds from corporate training and private sector courses are dedicated to its charitable work.
