From Centre:-
From Dumfries - follow signs for Stranraer and A75. Follow A75 towards Castle Douglas. Once in Castle Douglas follow signs for Loch Ken and A713. Follow this road to Parton and then a couple of miles later you will come across the entrance to Loch Ken.
From TIC:-
From Castle Douglas Tourist Information Center - follow signs for Loch Ken and A713 to Ayr. Follow this road to Parton and a couple of miles after Parton you will find the entrance to Loch Ken Marina
Getting There by Railway
From Dumfries Station - follow signs for Stranraer and A75. Follow A75 for 15 miles towards Castle Douglas. Once in Castle Douglas follow signs for Loch Ken and the A73 to Ayr. Follow this road toParton and within 2 miles of this look out for sign post indicating entrance to Loch Ken Marina.
By Bus:-
From Dumfries - follow signs for Stranraer. Follow A75 for 15 miles to Castle Douglas. Once in Castle Douglas follow signs for Loch Ken. Follow this route to Parton and within 2 miles of this you wll find Loch Ken Marina.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Glasgow Airport - follow M8 through Glasgow towards the M73. Join M73 at junction 8 and continue on this road for 3-4 miles and join the M74. Follow A74 to Dumfries but bypass Dumfries on the A75 towards Stranraer. After about 15 miles turn right on the B795 for 3 miles. This road will meet the A713 - turn right here, go through Crossmichael, then just after Parton on your left look out for Loch Ken Marina sign after the holiday centre.
Getting There by Ferry
From Stranraer - follow signs for the A75. Stay on this road, passing Newton Stewart and wait until you reach Castle Douglas. In Castle Douglas follow signs for Loch Ken and the A713 to Ayr. Followthis road to Parton then within 2 miles you will find the entrance to Loch Ken Marina.
