Getting There by Car

From TIC:-
From Balloch tourist information centre, take a taxi and ask for Lomond castle. If walking, turn left at T junction with Balloch Road. Continue to Princess Rose restaurant. Turn right, continue tonext main junction signposted Duck Bay Marina. Turn right, follow the lochside road past Duck Bay. Turn right at the end of this road into Lomond castle.
From Centre:-
From Glasgow city centre, take the M8 westbound towards the airport. Take junction 30, signposted Loch lomond and Erskine bridge. Once on the bridge, follow signs for Loch Lomond and Crianlarich, A82. Continue on the A82 through Dumbarton and past Balloch. Turn 2nd right, signposted Loch Lomond castle lodges, turn 1st left.
Getting There by Railway
From Balloch railway station, take a taxi and ask for Loch Lomond castle. If walking, turn left at T junction with Balloch Road. Continue to Princess Rose restaurant. Turn right, continue to next main junction signposted Duck Bay Marina. Turn right, follow the lochside road past Duck Bay. Turn right at the end of this road into Lomond castle.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Glasgow airport, follow signs for the M8 motorway towards Greenock and the Erskine bridge. Once on the motorway, take the 1st exit, junction 30 onto the M898 signposted Loch Lomond and Erskine bridge. Once on the bridge, follow signs for Loch Lomond and Crianlarich, A82. Continue on the A82 through Dumbarton and past Balloch. Turn 2nd right signposted Loch Lomond castle lodges. Turn immediately left.
Getting There by Ferry
By Bus:-
From Balloch bus station, head east past orange fronted general store, past Esso filling station, over river to Balloch railway station. From station take a taxi and asl for Lomond castle. If walking, turn left at T junction with Balloch and Road. continue to Princess Rose restaurant. Turn right, continue to next main junction signposted Duck Bay Marina. Turn right, follow the lochside roadpast Duck Bay. Turn right at end of this road into Lomond castle.
