At the foot of Ben Chonzie, in the beautiful southern Highlands, but only an hour from Glasgow or Edinburgh. Comrie Croft Bikes is perfect for exploring the countless biking opportunities in this beautiful area:
* A huge network of forest and wilderness tracks and trails to explore, many accessible without going near roads
* Quiet back roads and valley tracks ideal for families
* Easily see wild deer, red squirrels, ospreys, owls etc
* Technical single track and north shore features being developed on our own land (planned to open spring 2007)
Our light aluminium bikes come with front shocks and hydraulic disc brakes, suitable for ages 8 upwards. For smaller children we have 'Lil Trooper' tag-a-long trailers. All hires come with helmet, pump and trailside repair kit, as well as friendly advice and local route cards.
If you would prefer to start your ride from where you are staying locally (e.g. Crieff Hydro), take advantage of our Dial-a-Bike service - we bring the bikes to where you are. Just call 07933 781133 (small charge may apply).
For peaceful accommodation after a day in the saddle, look no further than our 4* Hostel - Comrie Croft. Situated in a 200 year old Scottish Farmstead, Comrie Croft offers a simple, attractive, great value escape. With a choice of private ensuite and shared dorm rooms, the Croft is ideal for individuals, families or groups. Bike hire customers staying in the Hostel get a discount.
