Join us in the sport of Kings, the noble art of practising one of the oldest field sports.
We are able to provide a unique experience whereby you share a breathtaking few hours flying Harris Hawks.
TWO HOUR HAWK WALK
A walk through spectacular hillside or along a loch side, flying the hawk in her own environment, lifting on the thermals, returning to a garnished fist.
HALF DAY WITH THE HAWKS
Half a day to help you understand the exhilaration brought about by the closeness of these magnificent birds, and to gain an insight into their training and handling techniques, flying the birds to the fist.
FALCONRY EXPERIENCE DAY
An opportunity to learn about the sport of Kings, the ancient art of Falconry.
Familiarise yourself with equipment and handling techniques used in flying hawks, and participate in the preparation of the hawk for the "Hawk Walk".
FIVE DAY RESIDENTIAL COURSE
This course is aimed at those who wish to take up falconry, or those that have an interest in this ancient sport but do not have the facility to keep a bird at their own home. The course would include a history of the species, where to purchase birds, Housing design, basic first aid, basic legislation, training regime, which would include, manning, weight control, diet requirement, creance work and basic first steps to free flying the bird.
