Situated in the stunning Drumlanrig Estate - voted one of the top 10 mountain trail centres in Scotland by MBUK magazine - Rik’s Bike Shed has a huge fleet of hire bikes to suit all levels of rider.
Offering balance bikes for tots, trailors, tagalongs and tandems as well as standard and premium bikes for kids and adults, Rik’s Bike Shed is your one-stop shop for bikes.
The estate has eight way-marked routes graded green for easy, then blue, to technically challenging red and black. Each offer superb viewpoints, giving you chance to catch your breath amidst some of the finest scenery southern Scotland has to offer.
Whatever your age or level of fitness, Rik’s Bike Shed will find you a route to suit! You’ll find many of routes here very family friendly - they know kids hate hills! - and are perfect if you’re pedalling with a baby seat or towing a trailer or tag-a-long.
Guided rides, tuition and skills sessions and cycling holidays are also available. As part of your hassle-free guided ride package, you will be collected (plus bikes) in Rik’s eight-seater, off-road truck, from your accommodation and taken to the bike trails.
