Our tours take you to all the major sites of archaeological and historical significance on Lewis and Harris. An “Out And About Tour” is the ideal way to explore the islands if you prefer travelling in a small informal group, enjoy walking and have a general interest in the history and culture of the Western Isles.

WILDLIFE TOUR
There are few places in the British Isles that can compare with the Western Isles for natural environment, and this environment is home to a huge diversity of wildlife.
All “Out and About Tours” include an element of wildlife interpretation, but we are also able to provide a customised guiding service to groups and individuals that have particular interests including: Ornithology, Botany and Geology.
For groups or individuals with a particular interest in birdlife, “Out And About Tours” will provide tours across the Isle of Lewis to areas particularly rich in birdlife including the Ness district of Lewis. This area is the most northerly district in the Western Isles, and the Butt of Lewis is renowned for its spectacular cliffs that are home to a variety of nesting seabirds.
