The Isle of Skye Trekking Centre
See some of the stunning views of the skye countryside on horseback accompanied by our friendly and experienced members of staff.
We are situated 15minutes from Portree (the capital of the island), on the A850 Portree to Dunvegan road.
The Skye Trekking Centre is a family run business idyllically situated on the main road leading from Portree to Dunvegan. We are 12 minutes from Portree and 20minutes from Dunvegan in a peaceful location.
Let our friendly staff whisk you away on an unforgettable journey through some of the islands most beautiful landscapes overlooking Loch Snizort.
Not only will you enjoy the stunning scenery – there’s plenty of wildlife to be seen too!
Treks are available from 1 hour to 2 hours and are taken out by experienced and fully qualified members of staff on well-schooled and well-mannered horses/ponies.
Our treks cater for anyone over the ages of 4years and no experience is necessary to take part.
1 hour rides - £25.00
2 hour rides – £50.00
Drinks and snacks are also available from our ‘tuck shop’ located in the reception building.
