Thistle Trails Walking Breaks

We offer walking breaks in the Arrochar and Loch Lomond area. Choose between relaxing easy trails, walking at your pace, or the more invigorating hikes on the local hills and mountains.
Full board, with home cooking, or B&B only options available, we are flexible to meet your requirements.
The emphasis being on providing you with a holiday to remember.

We run Thistle Trails Walking Breaks from our existing B&B business, Ben Bheula, in Arrochar.
The village is surrounded by hills, most notable being The Cobbler (Ben Arthur) that is a magnet for walkers and mountaineers with its jagged mountain profile. The area offers many walking experiences such as easy trails through woodland and following the lower hill sides with fantastic views of the lochs and hill tops to full mountain experiences. Most of the walks start right from our front door so no need to drive miles when you get here!
After a day walking you can relax in your room or take a stroll into the village for a drink and return intime for a substantial 3 course evening meal and the opportunity to have a chat about the day, the next walk, the area and life in general!
We are as flexible as you need us to be with the walks on offer being self guided (we provide maps and routes if needed) or with a knowledgeable walking leader. Also, you can mix and match the accommodation to have full board for a couple of days then B&B only so that you can try the local restaurants in the area.
The maximum group size is 6 people.
