What We Do Best
White Water Rafting
White water rafting in Scotland can be a world class experience with the right water level. From April until October Highland activities operate white water rafting on the River Gary which gives us guaranteed grade 3/4 white water when all other rivers can be dry due to the river being dam release. When it rains we also use the River Roy for wilderness white water rafting trips or we also have a more scenic float trip on the River’s Oich and Lochy. Experience the thrill of flying down rapids, avoiding rocks, squeezing through gullies and dropping over waterfalls. Once you have a taste for being on the wild Scottish rivers you won't want to get back on dry land.
Canyoning
Canyoning in Scotland is so good due to the natural landscape being so steep and mountainous. Highland Activities go canyoning in one of the most spectacular places in the U.K. and our 2 hour canyoning experience is just awesome!
Canyoning is a hard sport to describe but imagine yourself sliding down smooth slabs, swimming through crystal clear pools & abseiling your way down an otherwise inaccessible deep gorge on some spectacular Scottish mountainside, this activity is guaranteed to get you excited!
You will be kitted out from head to toe in a 5mm rubber wetsuit, to ensure you stay warm, a helmet and a life jacket. We will then travel the short distance to the head of the river where you will receive a safety brief and full instruction from our experienced guides. Once fully briefed your experienced instructors will guide you down the steep sided canyon were the fun begins.
Quad Biking at Glen bogle
Quad biking in Scotland in the surroundings of Ardverikie Estate or "Glen Bogle" as it is known to many in the BBC series "Monarch of the Glen". Riding a 250cc quad bike around rugged highland terrain with spectacular views.
Our tours are designed in such a way that you will follow a chosen route dependant on ability. With more than 50,000 acres at our disposal, we are able to tailor each trip to suit the needs of the group. We run a high ratio of instructors to customers so if necessary we can split groups to suit all skill levels.
Our quad bikes are all semi-automatic 4-stroke machines so no need to worry about using complicated gears, just the brakes and accelerator. We also supply you with helmets, gloves, wellington boots and Gore-Tex waterproof suits for your protection.
Multi Activity Days
Our wide range of activities means that you can come and enjoy a great day, weekend or multi activity break with Highland activities and mix up your adventure. Multi activity packages are great for stag and hen parties, corporate events, families and all all welcome.
