Mains of Taymouth Stables is situated in the heart of Scotland with some of the most spectacular views and scenery. Located at the head of Loch Tay in Highland Perthshire over the bridge from the picturesque village of Kenmore. Part of a family owned 120 acre Mains of Taymouth estate nestled in magnificent Perthshire countryside.
Our trekking offers breath taking panoramic views, our professional and enthusiastic team are on hand to make sure you get all you want from your riding experiences at Mains of Taymouth Stables.
Our range of horses allows us to accommodate most levels of rider experience, from the complete novice through to those that enjoy a canter or gallop through the forest tracks of the surrounding countryside.

30 min Pony Ride for the children or new for 2010 'Family Ride' where all the family can enjoy doing that something special on holiday with your children!
1hr trek for beginners groups of up to 6, this takes riders on a scenic route up Drummond Hill and down by the River Tay. The 1 hour trek for beginners consists of walking only. Our gentle giants (shires) and native ponies have been trained specifically to give all riders a safe and very enjoyable ride.
