2 Wheel Tours are a family run bicycle touring company based in the beautiful county of East Lothian. We provide professionally guided and self-guided tours around this spectacular corner of Scotland, taking in picturesque beaches, historic castles and peaceful villages. We are located in the seaside town of North Berwick, only a half hour drive or train journey from Edinburgh.
We offer a range of tours for you to experience, suitable for all levels of fitness, which can be fully personalised according to your taste or interest.
The tours can either be booked for a full day (6 hours), or half day (3 hours). We also organise cycle holidays around East Lothian and the Borders region and these can be booked over 3, 5 or 7 days.
In addition to our tours we offer lessons catering for beginners and people returning to cycling or lacking in confidence. These are available for both children and adults.
East Lothian has a diverse and historically rich landscape; ranging from its magnificent coastline and spectacular sea cliffs, to rolling farmland and the sheep-grazed Lammermuir hills. The area has played an important part in local history over hundreds of years, and is dotted with many ancient castles, churches and battlefields.
Our tours take in all of these as well as giving you the opportunity to visit the county's best restaurants, pubs or cafe's en-route. We also have links with many local artisans which we can visit. Any item which is bought on a tour will be delivered straight to your accommodation, thereby taking away the worry of whether you could carry it while riding!
