Alba Trek specialise in fully inclusive guided day walks in the Trossachs. If you are on a city break, short of time, but would like to experience the beautiful Scottish countryside, then we are the perfect solution.
Just over an hour’s drive from Edinburgh, the Trossachs, is the territory of the famous folk hero and outlaw Rob Roy MacGregor. It’s spectacular landscapes and scenery were the inspiration for the poems and writings of Sir Walter Scott.
We have a selection of low level walks, some easy, some moderate, varying from 4 to 8 miles Whether you are a novice, an occasional walker or a regular walker, if you have a reasonable standard of fitness we have a walk to suit.
Free transportation from your hotel, food, refreshments, professional guides and fun are all part of our service.
We operate all year round.

Sometime known as ‘ The Highlands in Minature’, the Trossachs are situated on the physical boundary between the Highlands and the Lowlands of Scotland. We invite you to join us in our walks around the secret lochs, glens and forests.
We offer on all of our walks:
Hotel pick up/drop off (or other pre arranged location) anywhere in Edinburgh and the Lothians.
Professional guides who are experienced and knowledgeable in the history, cultural heritage and wildlife of the area.
Picnic lunch and refreshments.
Visits to historical sites.
Small groups (4-8) to help you get the most from your guide’s knowledge and experience.
All tours start between 8 & 8.30 am and finish around 5 to 5.30 pm.
All you need:
Suitable footwear, walking boots or trainers/sneakers with a good grip.
A day backpack
Suncream/insect repellent
Camera
Appropriate clothing - layers to put on/take off are advisable.
Your sense of fun and adventure
