From Waverley Station Edinburgh. Turn left onto Waverley Bridge and continue straight up Cockburn Street. At the top of Cockburn Street turn right onto the Royal Mile. As you walk up the Royal Mile there is St. Giles cathedral, next to which is Mercat Cross. Tours begin here.
