River Rocket

Step aboard for a fantastic adventure. River Rocket and 3 Loch Sea Cruises offer a great day out for the family. Our high speed RIB can take you for an exhilarating ride across the Firth of Clyde. Expect to see lots of Scottish wildlife, beautiful scenery and have a great time. Our safe and stable powerboat rides are fun and even reluctant sailors remark on how good it is to be out on the Firth of Clyde on our twin-engine craft.
Take a trip to the magnificent sea lochs, Loch Long and Loch Goil, which form the seaward edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Or head south down the Firth of Clyde and through the Kyles of Bute, past the pretty Burnt Islands. Want to see a ship wreck? Our Rocks and Wrecks trip is the one for you.
Will you see wildlife? From time to time we find bottlenose dolphins, minke whales and Basking Sharks, but more regularly we see porpoise and seals. Eider ducks and Gannets are plentiful along with Guillemots, Terns Cormorants, Shearwater, Razorbills and Oyster Catchers. Come in late spring/early summer and you might see some big wobbly scary jellyfish!
'Engage Your Senses' - Skipper John Orr says, "A River Rocket Adventure Ride really does it all - a thrilling fast boat ride, wildlife encounters and a fun day in an overlooked and undiscovered yet accessible part of Scotland. And remember, if the idea of a fast boat ride does not appeal, our 3Lochcruises.com option takes a more leisurely look at the wildlife and scenery."
We are based at the Holy Loch Marina, Sandbank, near Dunoon on the Cowal Peninsula. Only 30 miles and a short ferry hop from Glasgow and less than an hours drive from Loch Lomond. With free parking, a lovely coffee shop and the backdrop of the beautiful Cowal Peninsula, now is the time for a Rocket Ride.
