Getting there from the Information Centre

Come out of TIC and proceed towards the waterfront. Walk across to the other side of Oban bay to the North Pier which has the red roofed restaurant, Eusk on it. Walk to the far side of the North Pier and you will see the Esplanade slipway 50m along the Esplanade, opposite the Regent Hotel.

Getting There by Car

Approaching Oban on the A85 come down the hill to a roundabout and take the right exit towards the sea front. Car parks are on either side of this road. Mara Mhor Cruises depart from the Esplanade slipway which is 100m walk to the left past the Oban Chocolate Company and opposite the War & Peace Museum and the Regent Hotel.
Entering Oban on the A816 from Lochgilphead direction proceed into Argyll Square where the Tourist Information Centre is. Turn right here and follow the road through the town across to the North Pier with the red roofed restaurant, Eusk on it. Park here and from the far side of the pier you can see Mara Mhor departure point on the Esplanade slipway 50m further along the Esplanade (opposite the Regent Hotel.)

Getting There by Railway

Arriving at Oban station proceed across to the other side of Oban bay to the North Pier,which has the red roofed restaurant, Eusk on it. Walk to the other side of the North Pier and you will see the Esplanade slipway 50m along the Esplanade, opposite the Regent Hotel.

Getting there by Aeroplane

Follow directions from Glasgow airport on the A82 and approach Oban on the A85. See directions as above.

Getting There by Ferry

Landing at the South pier by ferry walk across to the other side of Oban bay to the North Pier which has the red roofed restaurant, Eusk on it. Walk to the other side of the North Pier and you will see the Esplanade slipway 50m along the Esplanade, opposite the Regent Hotel. This is Mara Mhor Cruises departure point.
