Argyll Charters’ – Mara Mhor Cruises run from Oban’s Corran Esplanade slipway, opposite the Regent Hotel and the War & Peace Museum.
We specialise in scenic, wildlife cruises around the islands near Oban in the Firth of Lorn Special Area of Conservation and the beautiful Sound of Mull where colonies of seals and sea birds abound.
Enjoy a wealth of close encounters with marine and bird life. Be privileged to watch these fascinating wild animals in their natural environment.

Our Wldlife Cruises give a variety of options from a 1 hour standard cruise to the local seal colony to exclusive hire of the boat for your family or group occasion.

Standard Cruises include:
1 hour cruise to the seal colony with informative commentary about the seals, the local landmarks and landscape of the surrounding area.

2 hour cruises around the beautiful island of Kerrera, calling at the seal colony first with its backdrop of the mountains of Mull and Morvern or passing close to the Island of Lismore, often referred to as ‘the garden of Argyll’, and on around the Creag Islands and the seal colony.
Speciality Cruises include:
Earlybird Cruises. Do you love the peace of the early morning while the rest of the world sleeps on? Take this special opportunity to experience the scerenity of this spectacular landscape.

Evening Pre-dinner Wine Cruise around Shepherd’s Hat Island. 5.30pm – 7pm. Free glass of wine.

3 hour cruises take in destinations in the Sound of Mull or the Firth of Lorn Special Area of Conservation.

4 hour cruise to Corryvreckan Whirlpool between the Islands of Jura and Scarba.

Complimentary hot or cold drinks are served on all but the 1 hour cruise

Family/group exclusive charter can be arranged by the hour or day.
