Gemini Explorer Wildlife Marine Charters
Gemini Explorer is a 72ft former lifeboat that has been adapted for tourist use. Departing from Buckie, the boat cruises the Moray Coast, past the picturesque fishing villages of Findochty, Portknockie and accross Cullen Bay to Findlater Castle. On our cruises we encounter a variety of wildlife from Skuas and Gillemots and other seabirds through to seals, porpoises, minke whales and the areas most famous resident: the Moray Firth Bottlenose Dolphins.
Gemini Explorer is available all year round, weather dependent. Core season April to October when sailings are twice daily at 1015 and 1415. Not suitable for wheelchairs (ladders need to be negotiated to board the vessel).
Adults £25, Children (under 16) £18. Group discounts available.
Member of the Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA), Wildlife Tour Boat Society, Dolphin Space Programme (DSP).
Main Sailing time is 13.00hrs (1pm) & 16.15hrs then (4.15pm ) or 09.15hrs ( 9.15am
