Shetland Otters is a partnership of Terry Holmes and John Campbell they are both seasoned professional wildlife guides, who have teamed up to provide a unique service helping visitors to see wild otters, one of Europe's most emotive, enigmatic and secretive animals.
We are the only company in Shetland who specialize solely in taking you into the secretive world of Shetland’s wild otters. We will show you where they live, play, groom and hunt. More importantly show you how to observe these animals without disturbing them, a policy we strictly adhere to. We will endeavor to give you a unforgettable experience.
We operate a system of personalized guided days, you alone or you and your partner or friend will be the only people your guide will escort on the day, no crowds, no hassle, just otters, you and your guide.
On your day with us you will travel to our top locations to walk quietly along the seashore and when we encounter otters or any other wildlife we will identify and explain the techniques we use to get you the best views possible .
