Discover the wildlife and landscapes of Highland Perthshire on a Land Rover tour with one of our most experienced game-keepers or rangers. Choose from dawn, dusk or daytime tours ranging from 2.5 hours up to a 5 hour tour. Organic farm tours by tractor and trailer also available on certain dates.
Take a tour into the hills at dawn with one of our experienced game-keepers and see the stunning landscape bathed in morning light and mist. Listen to the sounds of the dawn chorus and have the opportunity to see wildlife including black grouse, red deer, birds of prey and red squirrels in their natural habits.
Alternatively see the evening wildlife of the hills on our Dusk Land Rover tours led by one of our experienced game-keepers. With spectacular views of the lowering sun, you may see grouse, deer and birds of prey in their natural habitats. Owls, pine martens, woodcock and snipe are all venturing out at this time of the evening.
Or maybe explore the hidden glens of Atholl normally out of reach for most walkers on this Land Rover tour led by one of our estate rangers. The tour takes you by Land Rover into the hills above Blair Atholl to discover the wildlife and plants of this spectacular landscape and savour the stunning views.
Special group tours of longer duration, or to see Loch Ordie (at the south end of the estate near Dunkeld) also available.
Down on the Organic farm tours – Experience the workings of Blair Castle’s Home Farm on a trailer ride tour, pulled by a farm tractor. Fun for all the family, the tour will take in the managed landscape and farm buildings surrounding Blair Castle. Children receive an activity book with crayons, and can have a sit on the tractor after the tour. Adults receive an introductory offer on Atholl Glens Organic Meat.
