Dolphin Watch Wildlife Tours

In one of the best places in the world to see bottlenose dolphins, the Moray Firth, Inverness.
On our adventure we hope to encounter not only dolphins but minke whales, basking sharks, harbour porpoises, otters and grey & common seals. On land we also hope to see Peregrines, Red Kites and maybe even Ospreys.
Unlike boat-based trips we are not dependent on calm seas so there is a lot less chance of cancellation due to bad weather. The added advantage of being land based is that we have a better chance of seeing both land and marine species. Don’t worry about poor weather as this rarely effects sightings.
All this is set against the magnificent surroundings of the Black Isle, overlooking the eco-rich Moray Firth. Fantastic photo opportunities are also available. There is no routine pattern to our route as we are often guided by the weather, tides and the day-to-day encounters that we experience.
What you’ll Need to Bring:
Enthusiasm, a sense of awe and wonder, warm, waterproof clothing in subdued colours so you don’t stand out, suitable footwear, binoculars, camera & related items.
Hot & cold drinks, snacks are supplied; binoculars and some waterproof clothing can be provided if necessary.
We concentrate on small groups in our vehicle so we can give a more personal & friendly experience & a greater chance of seeing more wildlife. We will do our best to make your trip as rewarding as possible. As nature is a wonderful but unpredictable environment we can’t always guarantee to encounter these fantastic creatures.
Trip times are 0845 & 1300
The trip lasts approximately 4 hours. Afternoon trips can run a little longer depending on sightings.
Opening Hours
