Glasgow Wide T.O.A Ltd
Glasgow Wide Taxi Owners Ltd are a mutual co-operative of approximately 700 owners. All taxis affiliated to the society are licensed by Glasgow City Council, as are all drivers.
<p>Prior to being licensed, all drivers are police vetted and are required to pass a test of their knowledge of Glasgow City and surrounding areas.
<p>Approximately 90% of all taxis are wheelchair accessible. We accept major credit cards in payment for fares, although this facility is only available on phoned bookings.
<p>Account facilities can be arranged and in this regard customers should contact our Sales and Marketing Manager Mr John Ross on 0141 429 2900. Taxi advertising is available on a fleet of some 900 cabs.
<p>Taxis are run to and from Glasgow International Airport, however pre-booking is required for pick-ups <b>from</b> the airport.
