A quiet country house hotel set in its grounds in Stoneykirk, near Sandhead. Torrs Warren Country House Hotel is situated in south western Scotland just 6 miles from Portpatrick. All around there is beautiful countryside, secluded coves, rugged cliffs, enchanted forests and long sandy beaches.

Ideally placed for exploring exotic sub-tropical gardens, castles and keeps, sampling part of the Southern Upland Way or taking a forest trail through Galloway Forest Park.

We can arrange a variety of activities to keep you well occupied, including Game fishing for salmon, sea trout and brown trout as well as Loch Fishing and Sea Angling. Golf at any of our five local courses or try your hand at bowls, pony trekking, rough shooting, sailing or water skiing.

The ferry to Ireland is only 10 minutes away. Sample a day away visiting the Glens of Antrim or the Giants Causeway. Torrs Warren is at the centre of them all.

Originally the Church Manse but now converted into a comfortable family run hotel, Torrs Warren still retains many of its 18th century features such as the curved cantilevered staircase. The hotel is set in its own grounds with ample parking and beer garden.

We offer accommodation in six delightful en-suite bedrooms each with central heating, colour TV and refreshment facilities. You may choose to dine in our beautiful oak lined dining room or our large luxurious conservatory where we offer fine Scottish cuisine carefully prepared and presented using the freshest of local ingredients complimented by a carefully selected wine list. Evening meals can also be served in either of the two comfortable. bars. For those of you who aren't out and about exploring, lunch can be enjoyed here as well.

Special Packages can easily be arranged to suit your needs including golf and sea fishing. Many of our residents enjoy Spring and Autumn Breaks. Spring comes early in Galloway due to the nearby Gulf Stream; March, April and May days can be idyllic and Autumn evenings are longer here which means you can stay on the golf course just that little while longer.
