Cragbank Wood

This is the largest area of ancient ash-elm-hazel woodland left in the Scottish Borders.
It forms a narrow band running across the steep slopes of Wolfehopelee Hill and has a rich variety of plants and butterflies. There is no car park and no well defined paths. The site is on a steep slope.
