Beecraigs Country Park
Begin at the park centre, a distinctive log cabin, where advice, information, crafts, farm sales and refreshments are available throughout the year. At the trout farm the life cycle of the rainbow trout can be seen in the rearing ponds. The trout farm is operated as a working unit, supplying fish for the table and for stocking rivers and lochs, including our own Beecraigs Loch! Britain's largest land mammal can be seen at the red deer farm, also operated as a working unit. A pedestrian walkway and viewing platform provides the visitor with spectacular views of the surrounding landscapes.
Wide range of leisure and recreational interests within 370 hectares of country park. Visitor centre, red deer and trout farms, woodland walks, play area and caravan/camping sites are just a few of the facilities.
