Getting There by Railway
From Dumfries: Join the Dumfries by-pass (A75) and travel west to Castle Douglas.
From Stranraer: Travel east on A75 to Castle Douglas.
Getting there by Aeroplane
From Prestwick: Drive southwards on A77 branching left onto A713 at Ayr roundabout (south roundabout). Continue on A713 for approx 50 miles to arrive in Castle Douglas.
From Glasgow: Take M8 eastwards to M77 then A77 to Ayr. Branch left onto A713 at Ayr roundabout (south roundabout). Continue on A713 for approx 50 miles to arrive in Castle Douglas.
From Edinburgh: Drive west on M8, south onto M74 to Lockerbie branch west onto A709, then onto A75 at Dumfries to Castle Douglas.
Getting There by Ferry
From Stranraer: Travel east on A75 to Castle Douglas.
From Cairnryan: Travel south on A77, then east on A75 to Cstle Douglas.
