Mountain Biking for Softies
"Mountain Biking for Softies" will give you a chance to see Perthshire on off-road trails, with Andy McGregor, who knows and loves the mountains and hills. Apart from Andy's qualification in mountain biking, he spends his winters teaching skiing in the French and Swiss Alps, making use of his International Teaching Qualification.
The object of my biking is to take visitors to the region on a mountain bike route so they can see the area on off-road tracks around the Dunkeld, Pitlochry and Aberfeldy area. 90% of the tracks are forest or Landrover trails, with just a few single tracks.
Bikes and helmets are included in the cost of the guided tour. Numbers are restricted to 4/5, enabling me to provide more personal attention and also to transport clients to the start of the route if necessary.
I will supply my clients with a map of each route and instruct them in orientation and map reading.
Routes can take a whole or a half day, or different routes over several days.
