I designed 'The Studio' to be not only a working studio and art gallery, but also to give a home setting for viewing my water colour pictures.
Visitors making an appointment will see work in progress and artwork displayed throughout the house, as well as various pieces of craftwork. Pictures are available both framed and mounted and there is a large selection of hand painted - original - cards. The subjects are various - flowers, people, pets, buildings, landscapes - anything which captures my interest.
The Studio is 3 minutes away from the Tourist Information Centre in Castle Douglas, which is Scotland's Food Town'. A trip to visit the Studio can be planned around one of the many places to eat well in Castle Douglas.
